additional storage space available. "We have seen a steady increase in demand for many years. By expanding the site, we are now creating the conditions for further growth," says Joachim Krage, Managing Partner of Krage Potsdam GmbH. In addition to the expansion of contract warehouse logistics capacities, a new connecting building with 1,000 square meters of additional handling storage space, a round trip and a filling station with a de-icing system for truck roofs were built last year in the first construction phase. Spedition Krage invested a total of 3.5 million euros in the expansion of the site. For the managing partner, the expansion is also a commitment to the location: "The attraction of Berlin is unbroken. With our location in the immediate vicinity of the capital, we are the ideal partner for companies planning a partial or complete relocation," says Krage. The forwarding company is already one of the most important suppliers to Berlin and the surrounding area of Brandenburg. Around 100 trucks are dispatched daily to supply the capital region.
