Panattoni builds for Dachser in Überherrn
Überherrn, 20.06.2018 - Logistics real estate developer Panattoni is expanding Dachser's site in Überherrn. Panattoni has completed the second construction phase of a logistics property in Überherrn, Saarland, within six months and handed it over to Dachser. An 11,193 square meter logistics complex for Dachser had already been built there in 2016.
The site has now been expanded to include a logistics hall with 19,156 square meters, including social and office space. Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner at Panattoni Europe, adds: "In Überherrn, we have realized our third joint project with Dachser and appreciate the reliable cooperation. By renting the second construction phase, Dachser can fully utilize the potential of the location." With the acquisition of the second construction phase, Dachser is planning to expand its contract logistics site.
Thomas Hörmann, Head of Construction & Real Estate at Dachser, explains: "In Überherrn, we have expanded our contract logistics space by 20,000 square meters to a total of around 62,000 square meters. The site expansion enables Dachser to combine transport, warehousing and value-added services even more efficiently."
