The new Fiege property fulfills the gold status of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). Among other things, the logistics center features demand-controlled LED lighting and an energy-efficient air heat pump. Vinko Castrogiovanni, Managing Director of Fiege's Southern Europe & Alps business unit, explained: "We have been at home in Bülach for many years and feel very much at home here. The new building will enable us to meet the various requirements of our customers in an even more targeted manner - and ensure maximum flexibility and long-term growth prospects for them thanks to a wide range of automation options. Special thanks go to the Canton of Zurich and the municipality of Bülach for allowing us to expand our site here and celebrate this important milestone for Fiege Switzerland today."

Jens Fiege, Co-CEO of the Fiege Group, who is the fifth generation to run the family business together with his cousin Felix Fiege, said: "For us as a logistics service provider, it is essential to be present where our customers want to be successful. In Switzerland, we have been able to count on trusting partnerships with companies from many different sectors for more than 25 years. And we are delighted to be opening a second multi-user center here in Bülach, which will enable us to provide our customers with even better support in their strategic development."
