Logistics company Zufall supports Göttingen trade

Due to the measures taken by the authorities in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the vast majority of stores have had to close. In Göttingen, the logistics service provider Zufall is supporting retailers with city logistics.

The campaign starts on March 30 and will run until April 9. The closed stores will then be able to deliver to their customers easily by chance. Retailers simply register their consignments during the day. From Monday to Friday between 5 and 6 p.m., employees of the service provider will be at three collection points with vehicles where the packages can be handed in. The tours are then put together in the evening and deliveries are made to the residents of Göttingen the next morning. Simply uncomplicated and initially free of charge during the campaign period. Initially limited to recipients in the Göttingen city area, Rosdorf and Bovenden/OT Bovenden.

"In less than 24 hours, branch manager Jörg Rotthowe and his team made the implementation possible," says central division manager Detlef Hofmann, who developed the concept.
