Weinheim, 03.02.2016 - The trans-o-flex Logistics Group has completed the change at the top of its management prepared in 2015. Frank Iden (49, pictured) took over as Chairman of the Management Board at the beginning of February. Max Moser (59), the previous Spokesman of the Management Board, can realize his self-imposed goal and retire to private life. "When I asked Max Moser in 2013 to take on another major project with the management of trans-o-flex, the company was facing major challenges," says Peter Umundum, Chief Parcel and Logistics Officer of Österreichische Post AG. "Today, the course has been set and I would like to thank Max Moser for his tireless efforts. In particular, I would also like to thank him for the many years he spent at Parcel Logistics Austria, which he built up in the best possible way for sustainable positive development. We are very grateful to him and I am delighted for him that he can now realize his long-awaited plan to retire to private life." With regard to Frank Iden, the new Chairman of the trans-o-flex Management Board, Umundum says: "Frank Iden will consistently continue the restructuring and realignment. With his experience from various companies in the industry in Germany, he has the best qualifications to take on responsibility for one of the most important tasks within our Group."

Max Moser took over the management of the trans-o-flex Logistics Group in April 2014, having previously been Head of Parcel Logistics Austria at Österreichische Post AG for eight years. Frank Iden has been able to prepare for Moser's succession and his new area of responsibility since October 2015. As Managing Director of trans-o-flex Netzwerk Group GmbH, he had already assumed responsibility for cooperation with the trans-o-flex system partners, who operate a total of 28 locations of the trans-o-flex express delivery service. As Head of Strategy and Corporate Development, he was also responsible for strategic projects of the trans-o-flex Logistics Group.

"I am happy to take up the balls that Max Moser has passed me," says Iden. "My work will focus on the continuous improvement of structures and processes in the extremely flexible trans-o-flex system in the operational area, increasing profitability in the financial area and, in the strategic area, concentrating the company on logistics industry solutions, above all, of course, in the core sectors of pharmaceuticals and healthcare as well as household and consumer electronics." Iden, a trained forwarding agent, brings more than 30 years of logistics experience in management positions at Hermes, primeMail, Deutsche Post, TNT and Interfracht to his new role. In addition to Iden, the management of the trans-o-flex Logistics Group will continue to consist of Christian Knoblich (Sales and Marketing) and Michael Stadlmann (Finance). red
