Change of managing director at pfenning logistics

Manuel Pfenning takes over the management of the operational pfenning companies with immediate effect and, together with Rana Matthias Nag, the long-standing Managing Director of the pfenning Group, forms the new dual leadership of the family business.

Pfenning succeeds Matthias Schadler, who has left the company for personal reasons. "We would like to thank Mr. Schadler for his great commitment to our group of companies and wish him every success in his new role," says Rana Matthias Nag.

Manuel Pfenning is part of the junior management team from our own ranks and has learned from the ground up at the Heddesheim-based company. He completed both his training as a freight forwarding and logistics specialist and his Bachelor's degree in logistics at the pfenning Group. In 2012, he was promoted from clerk to assistant to the transport management, only to head the division himself just three years later. Since 2018, as a member of the management team, he has already successfully implemented many projects and thus systematically prepared himself for more extensive management tasks.

"With Manuel Pfenning, we are delighted to have developed a managing director from our own ranks who brings the DNA of the pfenning Group to life in his daily work," says Rana Matthias Nag. "Mr. Pfenning has already been managing the operational business areas of transport logistics and contract logistics for some time and will also be responsible for sales and marketing in his new role."
