Foot scraper for forklift trucks

The idea behind it is initially reminiscent of the doormat at home. However, the Solingen-based medium-sized company does not supply fabric mats with funny slogans, but hot-dip galvanized gratings with patented brush strips. These lie in flat stainless steel trays that can be embedded in the floor at ground level or laid above ground. A second glance reveals a completely different mode of operation: Profilgate actively removes unwanted particles from the running surfaces. This is ensured by the pre-tensioning of the brush strips and the angled arrangement of the bristles.

Christian Löwe, Managing Director of Heute Maschinenfabrik, invented the Profilgate cleaning system in 2007.

90 percent less dirt

The system requires little maintenance and works entirely without electricity. Despite the simple principle, it achieves impressive results. Up to 90 percent of adhering dirt is collected, mostly in access and entrance airlocks. In this way, users optimize technical cleanliness and occupational safety, reduce cleaning costs and the causes of complaints. And they are sustainable - the manufacturer guarantees the brushes for 100,000 passes. In practice, their durability can easily be increased to 500,000 passes. All you need to do is swap the cleaning fields from time to time.

In the beginning was the shoe shine machine

Heute Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co KG was founded in 1905 as a manufacturer of shoemaking machines. Since 1945, the Solingen-based family business has focused on cleaning solutions. The product range includes classic shoe cleaning machines, sole cleaning systems, hygiene locks and the patented Profilgate cleaning system. Customers of the specialist for technical cleanliness include Airbus, Audi, BASF, Coca-Cola, Continental, Ferrero, Novartis, Panasonic, Tetra Pak and Unilever.

Scientifically certified effect

Heute Maschinenfabrik produces a wide range of variants at its new plant in Solingen: for narrow wheels and castors, for wide wheels and tires, for pedestrians as well as for lightly and heavily frequented passages. The product range also includes solutions in stainless steel, with food-safe plastic gratings and modules for wet cleaning, disinfection and drying. According to the manufacturer, the Fraunhofer IPA Institute has scientifically analyzed and confirmed the effectiveness.
