As his private life plans have changed for health reasons, Dr. Rosenbach asked the Supervisory Board to terminate his contract prematurely on March 31, 2020. Hans-Georg Frey, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, says: "Dr. Klaus-Dieter Rosenbach has played a key role in Jungheinrich's successful development for three decades and has always been a loyal and reliable companion. His departure is a great loss for all of us, both personally and professionally. We respect his decision, but we deeply regret it. On behalf of the Supervisory Board, the two shareholder families Lange and Wolf and the Management Board, we would like to express our sincere thanks and respect for his excellent work. We wish him all the best for the time after Jungheinrich."

Dr. Lars Brzoska, Chairman of the Board of Management: "For almost six years, I have been able to work closely and successfully with Dr. Klaus-Dieter Rosenbach on the Board of Management. I have greatly appreciated his extraordinary commitment to Jungheinrich and his high level of professional expertise over the years. All of us in the company very much regret his departure."

Following the departure of Dr. Rosenbach, the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board have decided to downsize the Executive Board as of April 2020 and reduce the number of departments from five to four. As of 1 January 2020, Sabine Neuß will take over the Technology division from CEO Dr. Lars Brzoska as the new member of the Executive Board.
