The RXE 10-16C electric forklift truck shows its strengths in narrow aisles or when loading and unloading trucks and containers, where space can be tight and turbulent. The successor to the Still RX 50 impresses with its compactness, performance and safety features. The three-wheel counterbalance truck offers a good balance between driving comfort, maneuverability and safety. Compact dimensions and sensitive steering make it efficient and maneuverable in the tightest of spaces. It can move components and goods weighing up to 1.6 tons in a space-saving manner. Two meters high, just under one meter wide - the small truck fits through every door and through narrow aisles in the warehouse. Despite this compactness, the RXE 10-16C can lift a half-tonne load to a height of almost seven meters with ease. This is made possible by the low center of gravity and the rigid design of the lift mast.

Dynamic on the move with safety features

The RXE 10-16C is not only maneuverable. With a top speed of 12.5 kilometers per hour when loaded, it is also fast on the road. It is equipped with the Curve Speed Control assistance function as standard and stays safely on track even in tight bends thanks to automatic speed adjustment. The slim mast and the visibility-optimized protective roof bars ensure an optimum all-round view. Other individually configurable equipment options also ensure safety - from the direction indicator and Safety Light 4Plus safety lighting to the lift height indicator, stability assistant and overload detection. Still has designed the RXE 10-16C to be at least as safe on the road as the larger members of the Still electric forklift truck family thanks to the driver assistance systems.

In addition to the assistance systems, the manufacturer has also transferred the standardized operating concept of the RX electric forklift truck family to the new RXE 10-16C. Anyone who is already familiar with other RX vehicles will therefore know their way around straight away. The comfortable driver's workplace, including the operating concept with Easy Control on-board computer, which clearly displays all relevant information and performance functions, has been adopted from the larger models. Drivers are immediately familiar with the vehicle without any familiarization time - for example with the individually selectable control functions multi-lever, mini-lever, fingertip or Joystick 4Plus, which ensure maximum driving comfort in the RXE 10-16C, RX 20 and RX 60 series. There is plenty of space in the footwell for safety shoes up to size 45.

Hydraulic gear steering

The electric forklift truck draws its dynamics from an efficient and low-maintenance rear-wheel three-phase AC drive with 24-volt technology; the drive concept and drive components are based on the FM-X reach truck. One advantage of the new driveline is that the high-maintenance steering chain has been replaced by hydraulic gear steering, in which a hydraulic steering motor steers the drive wheel via a gear wheel. The rear weight has also been redesigned; the electrical system including drive control now has more space here.

The RXE 10-16C, which is powered by lead-acid batteries, can be easily charged from above. The battery is changed from the side using a pallet truck with an optional internal and external roller platform. Users can continue to use existing lead-acid batteries from the RX 50 in the RXE - all they need to do is swap the battery plug for a 320 amp version. The RXE 10-16C is available with the Li-Ion Ready option with integrated quick charge access; a lithium-ion battery can therefore be easily retrofitted.
