ETV 216i reach truck wins Design Award

The Jungheinrich reach truck ETV 216i has been honored with the iF Design Award 2019. The truck is the world's first truck in which the battery has been firmly integrated into the truck design. The ETV 216i is more compact than conventional reach trucks.

Michael Niebuhr, Head of Industrial Design at Jungheinrich AG, explains: "When developing the ETV 216i, engineers and designers worked together consistently right from the start. The result is a truck that combines design and performance like no other before it. The fact that the ETV 216i has now been honored with an iF award is confirmation that we have taken the right path with this new truck design concept."
