Linde Material Handling over 2022

Martin Schrüfer,

"The will to change is gaining momentum"

There are a number of developments that make me optimistic for 2022. In view of the worsening coronavirus situation, for example, the fact that many people have already been vaccinated against the virus and hopefully more will be so that we can quickly get the pandemic under control. When it comes to climate protection, it is encouraging to see that the will to change is gaining momentum in society and in companies. To this end, Linde Material Handling has launched a genuine alternative to IC engine-powered forklift trucks, will be launching an energy management system next year and is commissioning its own hydrogen infrastructure at the Aschaffenburg plant. Our employees have successfully brought our company through the pandemic, as it is our job to maintain supply chains in these times. In 2022, they will continue to do everything they can to support our customers in their logistical challenges with efficient and customized products.

Many people have learned to live with the pandemic and its challenges, but - as the fall months have shown - there is always the threat of setbacks. Nevertheless, the general economic situation in Europe should remain stable and our order books are well filled.

The survey was published in materialfluss WELT DER INTRALOGISTIK (December 2021, first part) and materialfluss 1-2/22 (second part).
