Martin Schrüfer,

"Some things were questioned more critically"

I am encouraged by the people I work with every day. It is the good, personal interaction with customers, suppliers, colleagues and business associates that gives me confidence for 2022. I am encouraged by the fact that many things have been grounded again in the last two years, that people are questioning things more critically and focusing on the essentials. I am encouraged by the fact that our fundamental convictions have proven their worth: A long-term oriented business policy and solid partnerships instead of hopping for short-term advantage. I am encouraged by our products and our innovations, which make logistics more efficient and safer. Vetter forks and especially the SmartFork sensor fork are integral components for the logistics of the future. With these insights, we are very optimistic going into 2022. As a company, we are well positioned to take advantage of the many opportunities offered by the continued strong demand for our products in logistics.

I expect further growth and strong demand. One major challenge will be to absorb the sharp rise in costs. The many global political conflicts could become a major burden on the economy.

The survey was published in materialfluss WELT DER INTRALOGISTIK (December 2021, first part) and materialfluss 1-2/22 (second part).
