Kaup is presenting several new products on the subject of large-area clamps. Smart Load Control will be a world premiere at the trade fair.
The system regulates the clamping force for large-area clamps depending on the load. This means that only as much clamping force is applied to the load as is actually required. The system is based on the applied weight and not on the dimensions of the load. Neither prior definition of the clamping force nor intervention by the forklift driver is necessary. This is because Smart Load Control determines the weight to be transported at the start of each transport operation and adjusts the required clamping pressure. This results in damage-free goods handling, higher opening and closing speeds and energy savings of up to 30 percent. The T414B equipment clamp is also celebrating its Logimat premiere; the manufacturer has made several design adjustments to this product - for example, the pressure frame has been redesigned. Its modular shape is now more compact and consists of fewer individual parts. It is also equipped with a grooved profile rubber covering.
