Rulmeca cooperates with Pepperl+Fuchs
Rulmeca Germany has signed a cooperation agreement with Pepperl+Fuchs: The company would like to offer its customers in the area of unit load conveyor technology AS-Interface and ZPA (Zero Pressure Accumulation) modules in combination with its own BL3 drive rollers and rollers in the future.
Plant manufacturers of zero pressure accumulation unit load conveyors will be even better served as a result, as Rulmeca can now also offer its ready-made kits consisting of drive rollers, rollers and belts including control modules from Pepperl+Fuchs. OEM customers benefit from complete kits for their series production of zero pressure accumulation conveyor segments as well as simple commissioning via plug-and-play.
"The strategic partnership with Pepperl+Fuchs enables us to expand our range of unit handling components for zero pressure accumulation conveyor systems with a ZPA solution that is particularly powerful and can also be installed and configured quickly and easily. This has enabled us to put together what is probably the most powerful kit for zero pressure accumulation conveyor lines currently available on the market from a single source," explains Giovanni Ruggeri, Product Manager Drive Rollers at Rulmeca.
Applications for the new kits can be found particularly in zero pressure accumulation roller conveyors for packaging, storage, order picking and goods dispatch as well as in the material flow in production.
