TGW surpasses the billion mark in sales
TGW Logistics can look back on a successful financial year 2023/2024 (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024): The company increased its turnover to 1.07 billion euros. With an EBIT of 29.6 million euros, TGW Logistics is clearly back in the profit zone.
"Our turnover grew by twelve percent and exceeded the billion euro mark for the first time in our 55-year history. We were able to turn the result (EBIT) from a slightly negative value in the previous year to a significant plus of around 30 million euros," emphasizes Henry Puhl, Chief Executive Officer of TGW Logistics. "In view of the general economic conditions, many companies are still reluctant to invest in their intralogistics. However, our forecasts show that the market is set to pick up again in 2025 - we are convinced of the potential and future viability of the industry."
Increased research budget for future topics
Compared to the previous year, TGW Logistics increased its budget for research and development by 13% to more than 54 million euros. Robotics, artificial intelligence and digitalization were key topics.
TGW Logistics is also continuing to invest in infrastructure. A ground-breaking ceremony on September 25 marked the official start of the expansion of the headquarters in Marchtrenk. By summer 2026, the technology company will invest up to 100 million euros in a 25,000 m² production hall and a highly automated warehouse system.
