The company can therefore look forward to a new record in its 50-year history. The number of employees also grew - by more than 250 to 3,667. In the 2019/20 financial year, intralogistics specialist TGW recorded incoming orders with a total volume of 822 million euros - in Europe, the USA and China. Harald Schröpf, CEO of TGW Logistics Group (pictured), emphasizes: "Many companies commissioned TGW to automate their intralogistics in the past financial year: from Urban Outfitters and Zalando to the Austrian fashion retailer Personalshop. Compared to the previous year, we were able to increase our turnover by more than 16 percent to 835.8 million euros - a new record in our company's history."

EBIT amounted to 37.1 million euros - after 27.9 million in the same period of the previous year. This corresponds to an increase of more than 33 percent. As a foundation company, TGW may not be sold. Two thirds of the profits remain in the company and are invested - in employees, infrastructure and innovations. Ten percent of the profit also goes to the charitable projects of the Future Wings Foundation, which focus on the holistic personal development of children and young people.

For the third time, TGW is distributing a dual employee participation program of 4.1 million euros to its 3,700 employees. In the interests of transparency and fairness, all employees receive the same basic amount: regardless of their function and whether they work in Austria, China or the USA.
