Eisenmann files for insolvency
With the aim of accelerating the program launched in March 2019 to restructure and strategically realign the Eisenmann Group, Eisenmann SE has filed for the opening of insolvency proceedings.
Applications were also submitted to Eisenmann Anlagenbau GmbH & Co KG, Eisenmann Lactec GmbH and ENisco GmbH & Co KG.

"We are focusing on our core business and want to drive forward the strategic realignment of the Eisenmann Group with the restructuring as part of insolvency proceedings in order to return to a profitable business as quickly as possible. We want to consistently seize this opportunity for a fresh start and can build on a fundamentally solid business model. Market position, reputation, innovative strength and motivated and well-trained employees are essential components for the long-term prospects of our company," emphasized Dr. Michael Keppel, Chief Restructuring Officer of Eisenmann SE.
The owners and management of the Eisenmann Group initiated the restructuring and strategic realignment in March. The acquisition and execution of various major projects had led to a high annual loss in 2018.
"We had to act quickly and consistently here. At the same time, however, we also wanted to lay the strategic and structural foundations for our competitiveness," emphasized Keppel.
