New folding box series presented
Walther Faltsysteme has relaunched its folding box range. The new folding box series is characterized by its design with clearer shapes and lines. Users should benefit in particular from holistic optimization through the use of new simulation options in the development of the containers. Each of the new boxes is compatible with various digitization and automation technologies.
Thanks to a modular system, the number of possibilities continues to increase with the new folding box series from Walther Faltsysteme. The new development is initially visually clear: the new container series is characterized by its own design language and clear lines. The advantage: the new shape is designed to counteract damage and use the material as required.
Focus on automation
Modern simulation programs support the design of the new containers. Thanks to these, important properties such as robustness and durability can be predicted relatively accurately without long test phases. The importance of digitalization and automation is also reflected in the equipment of the reusable transport solutions. For example, each of the new boxes has in-mold barcode labels, which enable reliable identification of the containers and traceability of their goods routes. In addition, all collapsible boxes are tailored for use with automated conveyor systems and cleaning systems: Customers can choose from different base structures and pick-up points for handling equipment. In addition, all containers can be set up automatically and therefore unmanned.
In addition to these new technical possibilities, the experience gained from many years of application and numerous discussions with customers also provided inspiration for further development, as Dominik Lemken, authorized signatory at Walther Faltsysteme, explains: "The exchange with our customers is essential for us to be able to meet our quality standards in the long term. Current customers also benefit from this: As the new series is compatible with all of our older folding box series, existing customers can gradually switch to the new boxes."
