The "Red Dot" award has now established itself internationally as one of the most coveted seals of quality for good design, and as one of the world's largest product competitions, these awards attract entries from over 50 countries every year. This is the second Red Dot award that Combilift has received - in 2014 the Combi-WR4 multidirectional pedestrian stacker won the award.

The 4t Combi-CBE has the internationally patented independent electric traction developed by Combilift, which provides 100% traction control to all front and rear wheels - a differential lock is therefore not required on slippery surfaces. By entering the wheelbase parameters, the traction commands are calculated by the control system. While driving, the speed and direction of rotation of the wheels are controlled independently of each other and tight bends can be taken without tire wear. This also provides precise acceleration and deceleration for the operator, significantly reducing long load torque twists when driving sideways. The Red Dot jury commented as follows: "This compact multidirectional forklift truck is characterized by its exceptional manoeuvrability and high traction as well as its emission-free operation."

"We are very proud that one of our products has once again been recognized by the judges as a worthy winner," said Martin McVicar, CEO and co-founder of Combilift. "These two awards are testament to the high standard of our product designers and R&D department and the benefits we have been able to realize in collaboration with our customers during the design process of a new model"
