Combilift celebrated its 25th birthday in September 2023 with a party at its headquarters in Monaghan, Ireland. Martin McVicar, Managing Director and co-founder of Combilift, welcomed more than a hundred guests from all over the world. The celebrations began with numerous announcements at Logimat 2023, much of which could already be admired in Monaghan. The huge Combi-LC Load Carrier, for example, which the company developed together with Siemens Gamesa specifically for tasks in the wind energy sector - a new customer segment for the Irish company.

The Combi-AGT Autonomous Guided Forklift Truck - also on display - marked Combilift's entry into the autonomous forklift truck segment. The Combi-AGT can work in guided aisles to ensure optimum use of space and can also move freely and be controlled manually if necessary.

Logimat 2024 now offered the opportunity to present the products to a wider specialist audience. Visitors to the stand were able to examine a total of ten electrically powered devices - both new and established. With load capacities ranging from 1,000 to 7,000 kilograms, exhibits such as the Aisle Master narrow-aisle articulated forklift trucks, sideloaders and functional models of some of Combilift's largest products were on display. The pedestrian stacker range was represented by the Combi-PPT, Combi-CS and Combi-WR4 models, which can work in confined spaces and, thanks to the multi-position tiller arm and excellent visibility, ensure increased safety for the operator and other workers in the area. The design of two exhibits - the Cube and the CB70E - is based on the award-winning Combi-CB - the world's first truck to combine counterbalance design with multi-directional capability.

Step into telematics

However, the focus is now not only on the devices, but also on their management. The new Combi-Connect is a telematics software that provides better insight into fleet management and utilization. Real-time data on fleet performance, including location tracking, usage analysis and maintenance and safety alerts are transmitted. With this information, companies can optimize their operations. Combi-Connect is based on a subscription model and offers fully transparent data analysis, enabling customers to make and manage informed decisions.
