The new Kastosort Tower is a highly productive solution in the smallest of spaces. It automates the sawing and storage process with a space-saving system for processing, including sorting, that works 24/7.
The Kastosort Tower offers a fully automated system for metalworking companies. The concept combines technologies from the Kasto range to create an innovative solution consisting of the CNC-controlled, fully automatic Kastovariospeed production circular sawing machine with corresponding feed peripherals, a Kastosort robot and a Kastoecostore storage system with an advanced removal option at the rear of the system. The Kasto automatic sawing machine is supplied with raw material fully automatically and independently of the operator.
In combination with the Kastosort Tower, material can be sawn without having to pick up a pallet in between. The Kastosort robot removes the sawn parts independently and sorts them into the containers provided on a pallet by the storage system. When the containers are full and/or the order has been processed, the system stores the pallet or releases it for collection. This reduces storage movements and therefore energy consumption to a minimum. The pallets are retrieved via the drive-through station at the rear of the warehouse. From there, the removal vehicle collects the pallets as required. Meanwhile, the next order is already being started.
The Kastoecostore tower storage system offers optimum upward space utilization, high storage density, flexibility in material storage and short access times. The space requirement is just over 11 square meters for a Kastoecostore in medium format. The ProControl control system ensures fast, error-free workflows and smooth cooperation between the components. Warehouse management is possible via the Kastologic mobile app. The user can seamlessly record the goods and track the location of the material at any time.
