New idlers and drum motors from Rulmeca
Rulmeca presents innovations in the field of idlers, drum motors and RollerDrives. The group of companies with headquarters in Italy and 22 branches worldwide will soon be completing a new building for idler production in Italy. This will increase
production capacity and delivery times as well as service can be significantly improved. Furthermore, the production site for drum motors for unit load material handling in Germany has been successfully certified in accordance with UL1004-1. For the first time, it is now possible to certify drum motors with diameters of 81.5 mm to 320 mm for the North American market. As many European companies supply end customers in the USA, the inclusion of Rulmeca drum motors in the UL database facilitates the approval of a complete machine system. The "Certificate of Compliance" is listed under the UL document number E471906. Rulmeca Germany GmbH has many years of experience in the development of drum motors and offers these with sealing systems with high IP protection ratings. The drum motors have currently been tested and approved for use in the food industry with IP66/69 (in accordance with DIN EN 60529).
