Alarm bar for fewer forklift accidents
There are still frequent collisions between forklift trucks and installations and devices located under the ceiling. Such incidents often lead to expensive repair and maintenance costs that could easily be avoided. A-SAFE, manufacturer of collision protection systems, has developed a new safety solution, the alarm strip, which closes precisely this safety gap in companies.
The Alarm Bar is a ceiling-mounted Memaplex barrier with patented sensor technology specifically designed to detect the difference between natural vibrations and collisions. It has an audible and visual alarm that warns forklift drivers of contact and stops them in time. The alarm bar will be available from October.
