Partnership signed
Klinkhammer and GreyOrange cooperate
Klinkhammer Intralogistics and GreyOrange have signed a partner agreement for the distribution, implementation and service support of GreyOrange products.
Klinkhammer is thus expanding its solution portfolio to include sorting robots and mobile goods-to-person robots from GreyOrange. The autonomous, mobile robots can lift shelves up to 2.40 meters high and transport them to the order picker. According to the company, Klinkhammer is currently the only integrator of this technology in German-speaking countries.
The GreyOrange goods-to-person automation system is specially tailored to the requirements of retailers or service providers. Klinkhammer integrates the system into logistics systems, networks different warehouse types and controls the material flow from goods receipt to dispatch. As a system integrator and general contractor, Klinkhammer creates an overall logistics concept and digitizes the systems with the comprehensive warehouse management software Klinkware.
Flexible growth possible
The advantage of the system is its flexibility and scalability. The mobile robot system grows with the order situation by simply adding shelves and robots to increase capacity and performance. The shelving system is independent of any loading aids, as cartons, hanging goods or open goods can be stored directly in the shelving system. The mobile shelving can be flexibly adapted to changes in the product range or article dimensions in just a few simple steps.
"GreyOrange contributes the innovative automated robot system to this partnership, while we contribute state-of-the-art integration concepts, their digital networking and on-site service," explains Hagen Schumann, authorized signatory and Head of Sales & Consulting at Klinkhammer.
"Sharing a passion for technology and robotics"
"Klinkhammer offers solution-oriented concepts and many years of experience in warehouse automation. The partnership will strengthen our regional presence and help European customers to meet the requirements of modern fulfillment. We are delighted to be working with Klinkhammer, who share our passion for technology and robotics," adds Dieter Berz-Voege, CEO EMEA & LATAM at GreyOrange.
