Two participants were delighted to win first prize in the "Company" category. These included ICO Innovative Computer GmbH from Diez for the development of the "Storojet". The automated storage and picking system impressed the expert jury across the board thanks to its flexibility, speed, redundancy and affordability. The system is a newly conceived step towards the future, enabling small and medium-sized companies to automate their small parts storage at an affordable price.

"It is not only a great honor and a form of recognition to have been awarded the 2020 Innovation Prize, it also helps us significantly to make our Storojet automation solution accessible to as many people as possible. Especially in these extraordinary times of a pandemic, we can enable many small and medium-sized companies to react cost-effectively to space problems in the warehouse and rising personnel costs."
