Hymer-Leichtmetallbau expands top management
Jochen Kirchner completes the company management of the access technology and automotive specialist as the new Managing Director.
Together with Jörg Nagel and Tobias Weiß, he will form the new top management of the company with immediate effect. Alongside Nagel (Central Divisions) and Weiß (Vehicle Technology Division), Jochen Kirchner will in future be responsible for the Access Technology Series and Hymer Project divisions. The 58-year-old brings with him a wealth of expertise thanks to his many years of experience in senior management positions, including in the access technology sector.
Jochen Kirchner has held management positions at various locations worldwide, including around 20 years at the technology group ABB. Most recently, he was a member of the management team at Wilhelm Layher for several years, which has given him in-depth knowledge of the industry.
"Thanks to my previous job, I know the access technology sector very well. Hymer-Leichtmetallbau is already very well positioned in the market and has a positive image. I am looking forward to helping shape the future and further growth of this company and taking it even further forward." The business economist is paying particular attention to the topic of sales: "Constantly adapting sales structures to the requirements of the market is essential for a continuously growing company like Hymer-Leichtmetallbau. There are a number of aspects that need to be addressed, such as the topic of e-commerce."
