LogiMAT 2023

Katja Preydel,

Element Logic with its own complete solution offering

AutoStore integrator Element Logic will be presenting itself for the first time at LogiMAT 2023 (Hall 1, Stand 1H21) as a system supplier with a comprehensive range of technology, automation components and IT solutions from a single source. In addition to innovations relating to the AutoStore system, a live showcase will present the robot picking solution eOperator in combination with conveyor technology and a future-oriented AMR from robotics specialist and strategic solution partner of Element Logic, Addverb Technologies Ltd.

Flexible and scalable solutions for smooth material flows are Element Logic's core business. With this in mind, the company was the first official AutoStore integrator in the world to integrate AutoStore technology into its product and service portfolio at an early stage. The storage concept is characterized by efficiency and flexibility as well as minimal space requirements, high storage density and comparatively low investment and operating costs. The intralogistics specialist will be presenting the latest developments in the technology in a showcase at LogiMAT 2023. An AutoStore module takes over the storage and retrieval of products for automated picking by a picking robot at the conveyor port used for this purpose. The system benefits of the compact storage technology for efficient small parts storage and picking in combination with other automation technologies will be presented in a very small space. With the robot-based picking solution, the robot arm, supported by machine learning software, can also independently recognize, pick up and place new products without prior programming. "We are tapping into valuable optimization potential for our customers with our eManager, eController and eLogiq software tools, which we will also be presenting as part of the showcase," says Joachim Kieninger, Director Strategic Business Development. "We will continue to strategically expand the software segment around our flexible and scalable intralogistics solutions."

As a new addition to its product portfolio, the company is presenting the Dynamo 200 in Stuttgart, the first driverless transport vehicle (AGV) from the Dynamo AMR series from Indian cooperation partner and robotics specialist Addverb Technologies. "The collaboration with Addverb and the use of AMRs is a consistent continuation of our motto 'flexible, scalable and efficient'," explains Kieninger. The AMR Dynamo series is available in five models for load capacities from 100 to 1,500 kilograms and thus covers a wide range of tasks between incoming and outgoing goods. The autonomously moving Dynamo 200 on display at LogiMAT is designed for a load weight of 200 kilograms. Special feature: Dynamo visualizes the area of use with Natural Navigation using a Lidar sensor mounted on the front. Bumpers at the front and rear as well as a two-stage sensor mechanism supplemented by 3D depth cameras for active obstacle avoidance offer safety. The integrated fleet management system, together with automatic position localization, ensures seamless movement and calculates the optimal route for each mission. Each vehicle in the Dynamo series can be easily reconfigured for new tasks - for example as a transport butler or, integrated into an automated picking solution, as a pick assistant. "Units can be flexibly added or removed during ongoing operations," explains Kieninger. "A seamless integration interface enables easy integration into any warehouse management system." The Dynamo 200 will be presented in Stuttgart as part of an overall solution together with the eOperator automated picking solution, the AutoStore small parts warehouse and elements of the modular conveyor system from Element Logic.

"All in all, with the exhibits on show at LogiMAT 2023 and our associated product and solution portfolio, we cover the entire spectrum of customer requirements in the automated warehouse and conveyor technology segment as well as efficient order picking and internal transport processes," summarizes Kieninger. "Element Logic will thus position itself even more strongly in the market as a leading provider of intelligent intralogistics solutions."
