Real-time data for warehouse optimization
Element Logic launches cloud-based data platform
The Norwegian company Element Logic has developed a cloud-based data platform that collects, analyzes and shares data streams from multiple sources in real time. eLogiq is based on Microsoft Azure technology and aims to achieve self-optimizing warehouse automation.
"Rapidly changing conditions require faster intralogistics response times. Access to decision support in the form of data is of fundamental importance in order to remain viable and profitable in a constantly changing market," says Dag-Adler Blakseth, CEO of Element Logic.
eLogiq: A competitive edge
As a Microsoft partner, Element Logic has taken advantage of the software giant's cloud-based Azure technology. With the help of eLogiq, data flows from multiple sources can be analyzed in real time, giving companies a direct insight into which steps are necessary to optimize their specific warehouse.
"This new platform is an essential step in improving warehouse performance. Harnessing useful data opens the door to new opportunities, improvements and growth. Companies that use the platform have a clear competitive advantage," emphasizes Daniel Reime (Global Partner Solutions Manager, Microsoft Norway). "With eLogiq, we can help our customers improve internal processes and increase their efficiency through faster, more reliable order fulfillment," says Sutharshan Nadarajah, CTO of Element Logic.
Data is at the heart of developing new value-creating solutions. To remain competitive in a dynamic market, access to data from both internal and external sources is essential. It provides the necessary overview for fast, precise decision-making processes. "Valuable data lies dormant in our customers' warehouses. eLogiq collects and structures this data from multiple sources, including Element Logic's other software solutions such as eManager, eOperator and eController," explains Nadarajah.
In the coming months and years, eLogiq will be enhanced with a variety of new services and programs, from KPI-based dashboard solutions to an API solution that enables management systems to retrieve raw data from eLogiq. It will also enable predictive analytics of the flow of goods and potential sources of error, as well as more in-depth warehouse data exchange to document sustainability, risk management and regulatory requirements.
"In the long term, our goal is to create an automated warehouse solution that continuously optimizes itself based on the collected data. This frees up time and resources elsewhere. Our digitalization and process optimization solutions can be delivered as ready-to-use applications. This means that our customers can focus on value creation and results without being distracted from the process," explains the CTO.
"We will focus on developing new applications and services to expand the data platform. The smart availability and usability of data will help our customers thrive in a market and world that is constantly changing. eLogiq is a product that will continue to improve over the years. An exciting journey awaits us," concludes Dag-Adler Blakseth.
