400 trees for five projects

Calculations by the Global Footprint Network show that the world's population would need 1.75 Earths to meet its needs. Storojet has therefore developed a sustainable concept: The Storojet automated small parts warehouse is designed to be economical and ecological.

The driving and storage surfaces are made of renewable raw materials and the goods carriers are made of wood. Twice the amount of wood used is returned through reforestation projects. One tree binds around 12.5 kg of carbon dioxide per year and provides a habitat for animal species.

For the first five projects, 400 trees were planted in Hesse. These trees will store up to 5 tons of carbon dioxide per year and provide a habitat for numerous animal species. The Storojet solution can be implemented from a footprint of just 100 m² and therefore also offers an interesting option for warehouse automation for medium-sized companies.
