Falck has signed a comprehensive framework agreement with MAN Truck & Bus that covers the area of vehicles for patient and ambulance transportation. A total of up to 2,500 MAN TGEs can be ordered under the contract until the end of 2026. The Falck Group, based in the Danish capital Copenhagen, is an international provider of emergency services with over 30,000 employees in 35 countries. Falck's portfolio includes rescue and firefighting vehicles, patient and intensive care transport, ambulances and mobility services. The vans can be ordered by Falck's five national organizations: Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Sweden and Spain.

MAN will supply the base vehicles, while the equipment and body will be manufactured and installed by body manufacturers according to Falck's specifications. The first orders from the framework agreement have already been called off. Thomas Herzog, Head of International Key Account Management Van at MAN Truck & Bus, has the following answer to the question about the reasons for this success: "Thanks to our comprehensive expertise in body integration, which MAN has built up over decades in the truck business, we can guarantee seamless workflows and maximum quality of the overall vehicle. Only by working together with the body manufacturers can we ensure the success of our customers and support them in their day-to-day business. That is our goal at MAN."

For the Munich-based vehicle manufacturer MAN Truck & Bus, this is the largest single order in the history of its van. MAN has had the TGE, a van in the 3.0 to 5.5 t zGM segment, in its range since 2016. Falck and MAN are already well acquainted. In 2019, Falck's Danish division ordered 132 light trucks from MAN Lastbiler Danmark, MAN's Danish national organization. At the time, the order also included 19 TGE vans. In the UK, Falck Ambulance UK also relies on MAN TGEs for patient transportation. A total of 92 TGEs have been delivered there in the last two years.
