Plug and play: shelving grows with you

fuljoyment AG handles the entire online retail process - from concept and marketing to customer care, logistics, payment management and accounting - and successfully places brands on the World Wide Web. Its customers include various branded companies, primarily from the fashion sector. As a fulfillment supplier and service provider for e-commerce outsourcing tasks, fuljoyment AG relies, among other things, on economical warehousing to ensure efficient operations. LagerTechnik Hahn & Groh GmbH was engaged to set up three warehouses.

The system is flexible in its handling and is used by fuljoyment AG for flat-packed and hanging goods and shoes. The scope of equipment also includes solutions for corner shelf assembly as well as drawers and doors.

Easy to install and extend

The collaboration with fuljoyment has gradually grown and the equipment has been steadily expanded. To date, three warehouses have been equipped: around 5,000 square meters in Mölln, around 2,000 square meters in Schwerin and around 500 square meters in Zarrentin. The warehouses were equipped with the Super 1,2,3 boltless shelving system at a height of 2.50 meters, with which LagerTechnik Hahn & Groh specifically addresses online and stationary retail. Its great advantage lies in its flexible handling, as the three variants of the system have a modular design and are compatible with each other. Thanks to the plug-in connections, they are easy to assemble and there is no need for expensive installation. The shelving system can be easily adapted, extended and reconfigured at any time. It is equipped with many individual compartments for sorting flat-packed goods.

The Super 1,2,3 shelving series offers a variety of bay lengths and makes optimum use of the space with standard sizes, without the need for custom-made products. "We are particularly impressed by the storage solution due to the optimal access to the stored goods. But the extremely short delivery time of the shelves is also a priority for us," says Ingo Stemmann, CEO of fuljoyment AG. Ole Groh: "We can deliver all dimensions at very short notice - within just three hours."

The shelving made of sendzimir galvanized sheet steel guarantees not only an extremely high load capacity but also a very long service life. The storage solution is very flexible: with depths from 320 to 800 mm, bay lengths from 600 to 1,800 mm and a height of up to 10,000 mm, "intermediate sizes" are also possible for optimum space utilization.

Right down to the smallest corner

The shelves can be installed in corners, so that even the smallest angle can be utilized: With their new corner solutions for the Super 1,2,3 shelving series, the North German storage specialists have fitted full-length shelves without interfering frames. This eliminates the upright, which allows even better access to the goods.

As a member of the LagerTechnik - Regale mit System group with headquarters in Bavaria, LagerTechnik Hahn & Groh GmbH was founded in Hamburg in 1997 in order to be closer to its northern German customers. The company, based in Winsen/Luhe, equips storage rooms of all sizes with galvanized sheet steel shelving systems based on a modular principle. Its customers include companies such as Airbus and Aurubis, Continental and ThyssenKrupp, fashion chains such as Zara and countless craft businesses.

Ideal for start-ups

The Super 1,2,3 shelving units can be easily adapted to future company growth thanks to their expandability and relatively low investment costs. This is particularly important for young companies or start-ups, as it is possible to increase the shelf space and add further shelves at any time. The shelving racks can withstand far greater loads than "just" clothing: The Super 1 shelving system with bay loads of up to 1,500 kilograms and Super 2 with bay loads of up to 2,000 kilograms are suitable for single-storey use. Super 3 with bay loads of up to 3,600 kilograms can also be used for two-storey shelving systems with walkways or partial platforms. Due to their compatibility, Super 1 shelves can be used with Super 2 or Super 3 frames.
