WMS for international companies

Internationalization in logistics is no longer just a trend, it has long been a reality. In order to be equipped for the special challenges of global intralogistics, CIM offers ProlagWorld, a warehouse management system designed for different languages, countries and processes.

The central component for linguistic and regional flexibility is ProlagWorld's multi-warehouse capability. Depending on requirements, several locations or several warehouses can be managed within one ProlagWorld installation. The individual logistics centers can work completely independently or use the same strategies and process synergies of a central instance. For example, ProlagWorld manages the warehouses of a German logistics service provider in Germany, Australia and New Zealand.

Each logistics center is configured independently and optimally: The customer determines basic functions such as the time zone, the system language and the currency used in the warehouse. Receipts, labels, invoices and other printouts are issued in the German warehouse in German with the currency Euro, order processing takes place in the Central European time zone.

In Australia, on the other hand, work is carried out in English using the Australian dollar currency in Australian Eastern Time. Goods from a German customer are also stored in the Australian warehouse. Instead of the standard currency Australian Dollars, the Euro currency can therefore also be selected individually for this customer for warehouse invoicing. Similarly, the user language can also be changed within a logistics center.

The special feature for customers with multiple locations is that all storage locations or sites can be mapped within a central ProlagWorld installation. This has advantages for customers compared to individual installations at each location. New functions that are added or new releases are installed centrally and are immediately available in all logistics centers.
