Transporeon: More transparency in the transportation of goods
The British retail group Tesco will in future also use Mercareon's time slot management solutions for the organization of retail deliveries in all distribution centers in the UK. A contract to this effect has been signed between Tesco and the retail delivery specialist within the Transporeon Group. Tesco already uses Mercareon in its Central European distribution centers. Mercareon's cloud-based software-as-a-service solution will simplify inbound logistics at all Tesco UK distribution centers. Mercareon will help to optimize inbound handling processes at Tesco's 35 sites across the UK. The time slot management solution will provide Tesco with greater visibility of transportation and enable transport orders to be placed more easily and cost-effectively.
