Extension of the company building
TEAM sets course for the future
The Paderborn-based IT company TEAM GmbH has decided to set trends in its own company building as part of the company's further development and to secure its planned growth. The main building at the Paderborn Schloß Neuhaus site will be extended by an annex from the beginning of 2021.
The new part of the building will cover a total of approx. 400m2 and thus provide space for up to 25 new workstations. Furthermore, new representative meeting and conference rooms will be created on the first floor. The highlight of the extension is the transparent and open glass fronts, which provide plenty of light and clarity on both sides. Conceptually, the building's natural location is to be incorporated. With green floor coverings and corresponding wall design, the building will adapt and blend in with the surrounding forest structure. Work and feel good as if you were in the great outdoors.
The office space is designed to be open in order to further promote teamwork in software development. A particular focus is on supporting virtual teams with the inclusion of home office workstations. The conference area of around 100m2 will also offer opportunities to hold seminars, training courses and conferences in future. Presentation and media technology is provided for this purpose.
When designing the new building, the focus was placed on environmental friendliness. The extension, which is scheduled to start construction at the beginning of 2021, will therefore comply with the KFW 55 standard in terms of its sustainability and energy concept. For example, an energy-efficient, combined heating and ventilation system will be installed. With the new lighting concept, TEAM is moving away from classic ceiling lights and towards individual floor lamps in a modern design, which also meet the latest energy standards. With the new lighting concept, both open-plan offices and individual offices can be flexibly designed. TEAM also supports the use of bicycles via leasing models. This measure and the recently installed charging station for electric vehicles underline TEAM's commitment to alternative forms of energy.
