Documents get lost, components are left in the wrong places or urgent spare parts delay repairs - this costs time and money. The Cosys Track & Trace solution digitizes internal transport and ensures that every movement of goods is documented.
Digital shipment tracking
How the solution works when used for shipment tracking: Each parcel, component or document is scanned using mobile MDE devices or smartphones. This allows the current location to be tracked at any time. Each scan updates the status information in real time so that no additional queries or phone calls are necessary. Employees can see in the Cosys Webdesk where a consignment is located, when it was delivered and who has processed it. The consignment is handed over to the recipient digitally with a signature or photo capture to avoid mix-ups or losses.
Parcel lockers for flexible delivery and collection
In addition to traditional delivery by employees, Cosys also offers the integration of intelligent parcel lockers for flexible and contactless handover. Especially in companies with shift work, extensive production halls or multiple locations, parcel lockers offer a practical solution for efficiently handing over internal consignments. Employees can collect their consignments at any time - regardless of fixed handover times. The software assigns each delivery to a compartment in the parcel locker and notifies the recipient by email or push message with a PIN code or QR code for collection. Only authorized persons can open the compartment using a barcode or PIN code. This ensures that sensitive documents or expensive spare parts do not fall into the wrong hands. The parcel lockers can be placed strategically, for example near production lines or goods entrances, to minimize walking distances and speed up the supply of materials.
The combination of digital shipment tracking and parcel lockers ensures that employees spend less time searching for documents, tools or spare parts - and can concentrate on their actual tasks instead.
