Metrilus uses technologies such as pattern recognition, computer vision, machine learning and AI applications to provide logistics data quickly. The focus of the collaboration is on the simplified connection and direct data exchange between the PSIwms warehouse management system and the various measuring devices of the MetriXFreight product family from Metrilus. Standardized interfaces are being developed and integrated into the system logic for this purpose.

The close integration of the Metrilus measurement data with PSIwms optimizes the processes of master data maintenance, harmonization and updating as well as the operational processes in the warehouse, such as the creation of volume-optimized packing patterns by PSIwms. This is facilitated above all by the high measuring speed of the Metrilus master data collection stations. Together with the direct connection to PSIwms, this ensures that the data for an item is available immediately and with high accuracy for further process and optimization steps.

In outgoing goods, the data of a shipment can also be transmitted via standardized interfaces using the MetriXFreight devices. Metrilus GmbH, based in Uttenreuth near Erlangen, focuses on applications in the logistics industry with its MetriXFreight technology
