Acquisition in the Upper Palatinate

Martin Schrüfer,

proLogistik Group continues to grow and brings TM3 on board

As part of its Mergers & Acquisitions strategy, the proLogistik Group has gained another add-on in the form of TM3 Software GmbH from Regenburg.

The merger will enable the warehouse management (WMS) experts to further expand their market position in the DACH region.

TM3 was founded in 2008 as a spin-off from the University of Regensburg and offers specially developed software with a focus on warehouse logistics for medium-sized retail companies, fulfillment providers and online retailers. This is a SaaS solution based on state-of-the-art architecture and a variety of adequate, smart functions. The standard software can be expanded at any time with individually designed interfaces: stores & marketplaces, payment & accounting, carriers & shipping service providers. "With TM3, we have a new, important partner at our side, with whom we are also further strengthening our expertise within the pL Group in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), big data, automation and e-commerce," says Jörg Sänger, CEO of the Group holding company. "TM3's solutions are in line with our strategy of establishing the standard SAAS WMS area as a strong pillar of our portfolio, so that our customers can digitize their logistics extremely quickly and easily."

Additional options open up through the integration of further interfaces into the proLogistik Group's central Business Connector. This allows ERP and CEP systems, web stores and payment applications to be connected without media discontinuity.

Following the merger with Dataphone, IT Consult Henrik Ernst, LogiSoft-S and Xelog in 2021, TM3 is the sixth family member within the proLogistik Group and will also operate as an independent company within the group. "We are delighted to have another strong player on board with TM3, whose philosophy is in line with ours," continues Jörg Sänger. "Flexibility, reliability, continuity and integrity are just as crucial as lean hierarchies and short decision-making paths as a prerequisite for trusting, successful customer partnerships at eye level."
