Mönig Logistik: Release change according to plan
Mönig Logistik has secured the future of its warehouse management system with a new release upgrade agreement with software company CIM. The Prolag World warehouse management system, which has been implemented since 2013, will therefore always be up to date.
Mönig Logistik GmbH, based in Meschede in North Rhine-Westphalia, is a Germany-wide provider of individual logistics solutions - from overseas transportation to professional storage.
Reliability and speed are among the core elements of modern logistics. In order to continue to meet this requirement in the future, Mönig Logistik, based in Meschede, decided to sign a release upgrade contract with the software manufacturer CIM. The Prolag World warehouse management system thus keeps the warehouse in Meschede at the highest performance level despite constantly increasing requirements. The first major system upgrade in October 2021 marked the start of the regular release upgrades. Thanks to the 100% standardized system, Prolag World always remains up to date in terms of security, up-to-dateness and efficiency with the annual release upgrades. Major system upgrades are therefore a thing of the past. CIM is constantly expanding the range of functions with additional security features and optimized compatibility with state-of-the-art technologies. Mönig Logistik is already benefiting from this with its current release upgrade: Prolag Go, the mobile Android app for Prolag World, has also been in use in Meschede since October 2021.
The release upgrade was a complete success for the CIM project team. "The system met its target the day after it went live and ran almost silently," says Vera von Haxthausen, project manager at CIM. The release upgrade agreement between CIM and Mönig has thus laid the foundations for successful cooperation in the future.
