Locate any forklift: "Indoor Locator" from Mobile Easykey makes it possible
In large companies, you often hear the question: "Where's the forklift?" Sometimes it's a question of where the right machine with the required tonnage or the special attachment is. Sometimes the workshop is looking for the machine for due maintenance or after a crash. Mobile Easykey provides the answer with the "Indoor Locator" feature. Using WLAN, the Mobile Easykey module also transmits its location to the software. In terms of accuracy, the more WLAN access points are installed, the more precisely the device can be located. For most applications, it is sufficient to know that a forklift truck can be found in a specific hall or area of the hall. In future, the fleet manager will also have a comprehensive overview of the entire operation: which device is where and in which status: logged in, energized, in crash, in workshop mode and so on. The only prerequisite for this is an up-to-date Mobile Easykey WLAN module. In the existing software, access to tracking is simply activated with the help of a code. According to the manufacturer, this cost-effective solution does not require any retrofitting or intervention in the hardware.
