Inconso: Efficient control of material transports
With inconsoS/TCS (Transport Control System), the software specialist Inconso presents a newly developed, SAP-integrated solution for the optimized planning and control of internal material transports. The software solution, designed for cross-system use, supports the integrative consolidation of single to multi-level transportation processes in the internal company network and thus also creates comprehensive movement and inventory transparency at an operational level. The inconsoS/TCS also focuses on the continuous tracking of internal transport movements, for example from goods receipt to the warehouse, through the individual production stages, to final assembly and dispatch. To this end, the system keeps an eye on forklifts, tugger trains and trucks between production, the warehouse, the depot and also non-systemically managed sub-areas and consequently enables a detailed view of movements and stocks.
