Advantec-DLOG: Android version for logistics terminals

There are many operating systems to choose from for vehicle terminals, but Android was not one of them until now. Advantech-DLOG is now changing this: Advantech-DLOG has developed an Android version for its DLT-V72 series of logistics terminals in order to offer users in logistics and warehousing more application options and flexibility. One advantage: the graphics are familiar to most smartphone users and the operation is similar to commercial Android. In addition, the ADLOG Android is not a Google image, which would have opened a back door for Google - a plus in terms of security. Until now, Android was only available in logistics on handhelds. Thanks to Advantech-DLOG, the system is now available on vehicle terminals. This extended area of application allows users to build their IT infrastructure on an operating system.
