The VAI-100 smart person and vehicle warning system for industrial trucks, such as forklift trucks, uses artificial intelligence (AI) to detect people and vehicles.
The camera-based video solution helps forklift drivers to prevent incidents without the need for special clothing or tags, such as wearables. VAI-100 constantly monitors the route, scanning the surroundings over 50 times per second and distinguishing between forward and reverse travel. The forklift driver is immediately warned visually and acoustically as soon as an object breaches defined safety zones (yellow and red). Every zone violation is recorded. The stand-alone system works on any industrial truck and can also be linked to the intelligent Enterprise fleet management system for more precise evaluations.
