Guiding industrial trucks safely through high-bay warehouses

The 'Wrong-Way-Sensor (wws)' from Microsonic guides industrial trucks safely through high-bay warehouses. The ultrasonic sensor has a scanning range limit of 3.5 m and detects industrial trucks entering rack aisles in the logistics hall within this measuring range. The sensor distinguishes between incoming and outgoing industrial trucks.

In a one-way system in a high-bay warehouse, industrial trucks traveling in the correct direction do not need to be warned. However, if an industrial truck is traveling in the wrong direction, the driver should be warned acoustically and visually. For this purpose, the Microsonic sensor is equipped with a flashing light and a horn. The aim is to avoid unnecessary wrong turns and collisions with oncoming industrial trucks. The sensor can be supplied with power via a power bank. Thanks to the magnetic holder, mounting on steel masts is quick and requires no drilling. Optional fastening with a screw to the slotted hole is possible at any time. The sensor is pre-set and ready for immediate use.
