Side-rolling high-speed door prevents collision damage
With loaded forklift traffic, the driver often does not immediately see the available clearance height with vertically opening doors or misjudges it. To reduce collision damage, Butzbach has developed a horizontally opening high-speed door.
Despite high opening speeds in some cases, vertically opening doors do not immediately give the industrial truck full clearance. The driver is therefore forced to slow down or briefly turn his attention away from the lane to check the current opening height, which increases the likelihood of an accident.
Designed for continuous use
The horizontally opening Novosprint model is optimized for fast, continuous use so that these doors can be used in a variety of working environments. Bulky goods often obstruct visibility when maneuvering and require additional concentration when maneuvering. "Deadline pressure and hectic rush often lead to carelessness. It can quickly happen, for example, that the top slats are touched by the freight when passing through an opening warehouse door and the door segments are damaged," explains Christian Kossowski, Regional Manager North at Butzbach GmbH Industrietore.
Opening speed of up to 5 m/s
The standard version of the Novosprint consists of two door leaves that are pulled open synchronously by spring force and rolled up in a stator profile. An opening speed of up to 5 m/s is possible, while the closing speed is up to just under 2 m/s.
