SEW-Eurodrive is expanding its portfolio with an adjustable drive system based on stepper motors. It offers machine manufacturers a resource-saving implementation of adjustment axes with both open-loop and closed-loop control.
It will be presented with a focus on format adjustment for industries such as food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and logistics. With this expansion of its 48 V portfolio, the drive specialist is strengthening its position in the field of automation technology.
The system combines software and hardware components for efficient and resource-saving engineering of adjustment axes, tailored to the flexible and precise requirements of modern packaging and logistics processes. The portfolio consists of five different stepper motors in sizes Nema23 and Nema34, a stepper motor module that fits into the existing Movi PLC I/O system portfolio, as well as the necessary cabling including a ready-made software module.
