Freshly re-elected
Peter Umundum to lead Eurodis Advisory Board for another three years
Peter Umundum, member of the Management Board of Österreichische Post AG, has been elected Chairman of the Advisory Board of Eurodis GmbH for a further three years.
At the same Advisory Board meeting, Alberto Lozano, CEO of Spanish Eurodis partner Redur, was confirmed as Deputy Chairman. Umundum has chaired the advisory board of the international transport network since 2011. His Management Board mandate at Austrian Post, where the 56-year-old manager is responsible for Parcel & Logistics, was recently extended until 2024.
"The confirmation of the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Board is an important sign of continuity and trust in these challenging times," said Peter Umundum after the election. "It reflects the stability that we have in terms of volume and network at Eurodis, even during the coronavirus crisis, and I look forward to developing our European network even further."
According to Umundum, Eurodis, with its strong national partners representing the network in 36 countries, offering both 2B and 2C services and transporting goods in parcels as well as on pallets, "provides an ideal basis for supporting our customers. Especially in the current situation, we see that our organization of national specialists is able to react individually and quickly to customer needs." Alberto Lozano adds: "Thanks to the trust of our customers and the commitment of all our employees in the Eurodis network, we are able to manage the current crisis and turn the challenges into lasting opportunities."
