TGW Logistics: Sebastian Wolf becomes new CFO
Sebastian Wolf takes over the position of Chief Financial Officer at TGW Logistics: He will take up his position on May 5, 2025 and succeeds Clemens Bauernfeind, who has held the position on an interim basis since May 2024 and will accompany TGW Logistics until the end of June to ensure a smooth handover.
The 42-year-old Wolf studied economics at the JKU in Linz and has been with the listed Upper Austrian firefighting equipment supplier Rosenbauer since 2008. He took on various management roles there before being appointed CFO in 2017 and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in 2022.
During this time, he was responsible, among other things, for the realignment of financing, the introduction of a Group-wide SAP system and a significant increase in liquidity. As CEO, he also achieved a successful turnaround: the operating result developed from -1% (2022) to +5% (2024), with record order intake despite significant price adjustments. Wolf has extensive experience in the areas of finance, controlling, treasury, IT security, SAP, transformation, M&A (mergers & acquisitions) as well as strategy and performance management.
