Remira introduces new VP Sales Supply Chain

Birger Klinke joined the Remira management team on December 1, 2025. He is responsible for the strategic development of sales in the Supply Chain division and driving the software provider's growth.

Birger Klinke, a 38-year-old business administration graduate, brings with him extensive experience from international SaaS companies and previously held management positions in logistics, professional services and sales at Rewe, ToolsGroup and Slimstock, among others. Most recently, Klinke was responsible for sales in German-speaking countries at Slimstock. At Remira, he will now further develop the sales strategy and drive forward the expansion of the customer portfolio. The focus is on innovative, cloud-based SaaS solutions for an efficient and resilient supply chain.

Remira anticipates a paradigm shift in the supply chain in 2026: localization is becoming more important than globalization, production processes are moving closer to sales markets, and artificial intelligence - especially agentic AI - is increasingly automating operational and strategic decisions in real time.

Klinke also sees rising customer expectations as a clear driver for specialized software solutions: "Today's customers expect transparency, agility and intelligent forecasts, which cannot be met without specialized software solutions in view of the increasing demands of the market. Remira is positioning itself as a strong sparring partner for existing and potential new customers with future-proof AI-supported end-to-end planning solutions, from pure sales and demand planning to detailed production planning and the supplier portal," says Klinke.
