New Head of Automotive at CHEP Europe and North America

CHEP, a supply chain solutions company with an international pooling network for load carriers, has appointed Christophe Campe as its new Head of Automotive for Europe and North America, effective April 15. He succeeds Murray Gilder, who recently took over the position of Country General Manager for the UK and Ireland.

"Ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying new business opportunities while accelerating sustainable volume growth will be critical going forward," said Helen Lane, CEO of CHEP Europe. "I am delighted to have Christophe at the helm of CHEP Automotive with his expert knowledge and extensive experience."

Christophe Campe has held various strategic positions at CHEP since joining the company in 1993. In 2001, he was appointed Finance Director for Germany, the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe before becoming Country General Manager for the Benelux countries and Germany. He then moved to CHEP First Mile Solutions and European Key Accounts. He has been Senior Vice President, European Supply Chain, since 2018.
