ID Logistics Germany: New Vice President Research & Development
As Vice President Research & Development at ID Logistics Germany, JérômeTommasini has been responsible for all areas of new business since September 2024.
This includes market research, business development, as well as the areas of solution concept/proposal creation, innovation, marketing and real estate. As a member of the management team at ID Logistics Germany, Tommasini reports to CEO Robin Otto.
In his role, Tommasini also works closely with the Development/Innovation department at the ID Logistics Group's headquarters in France. He has more than 25 years of professional experience, including at Geodis as Chief Operating Officer and Engineering Director, and previously at XPO in the position of Customer Solutions Director.
"Our goal is to develop the optimal solution for our existing and future customers' contracts, with a focus on technology, innovation and pricing. Jérôme Tommasini is an experienced planner and implementer and stands for sound contract logistics experience. As an expert on the pure players in contract logistics, he is deeply involved in the planning and design of logistics solutions and knows all the technical solutions at national and international top level. With his extensive know-how, he will continue to drive forward the company's growth strategy and strengthen the brand. We are delighted that Jérôme Tommasini has joined ID Logistics Deutschland," explains Robin Otto, Managing Director of ID Logistics Deutschland.
